The National Weather Network was conceived by a group of independent broadcast meteorologists in 2023 to foster a new form of connectivity and content creation for those working in the digital weather landscape. Our objective from the beginning has been helping each affiliate develop, refine, and grow a hyper-local weather outlet that better informs viewers in communities big and small.

Today, our network is helping to write a new chapter in the broadcast meteorology industry by offering a means for those building their own OTT and social media based weather information outlet to have additional content and enhanced marketing opportunities.  Our network is a growing community of degreed or certified weather professionals who've spent time in the legacy industry and are now working together to usher in the future of broadcast weather.
